About our research programme
The Ménière's & Vestibular UK Research Programme was established in 1998. Since then, we are proud to have contributed to research projects aimed at identifying:
- better tests to identify and monitor conditions
- less destructive treatments for severe cases
- a better understanding of the cause of vestibular disorders
- a greater understanding of the psychology of vestibular disorders.
We've supported research across a number of disciplines to gain further understanding of these complex conditions. At the same time, the Charity has built a reputation within the research community as a supporter of valuable studies. This has encouraged researchers to approach the Charity with innovative and valuable research proposals. We hope, one day, the research may lead to a cure.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our ongoing research fund; we really couldn't do it without you!
Thank you Ménière's & Vestibular UK for funding [the research trial] and providing the means for my return to living, for which I will be eternally grateful.
